This experience, in a nutshell

Do you like going to sea? With me you will not only take a holiday, as a sailing instructor I will pass on everything I know if you want to learn it, with the aim of thrilling you by sailing in the sea of the Tuscan archipelago.

All seasons are good, come and enjoy the crisp air, the sun that is just pleasure, amazing sunrises and sunsets and the intimacy of sharing the boat and the passion of going to sea. Let yourself be surprised by the sensations you feel when you leave the pier, sail and even sleep in the open sea, by the chatter of the waves, by the stories whispered by the wind, by the colors of the sea, by the flowers and scents of the island of Elba.

The base is Punta Ala, for two days the destination is Elba, with more days also other islands of the Tuscan archipelago (see customize the holiday).

L’itinerario terrà conto delle condizioni meteo marine.

Nord, ovest, sud od est che sia se passeremo la notte in porto od in rada nei pressi dei porti, si scende per visitare dei sobborghi incantevoli e pieni di storia. Durante il giorno i bagni e lo snorkeling cercheremo di farli nei punti dove il mare è più mare, e ne citerò solo alcuni di qualche centinaio.

A Nord la spiaggia di Sottobomba, di Sansone, il Viticcio e l’Isola Paolina.

Ad Ovest sant’Andrea e Fetovaia.

A Sud punta Rossa, le Gemini, l’Innamorata,cala Norsi, Laconella.

Ad Est la spiaggia di Ripa bianca, l’Ortano e la spiaggia delle Terre Nere.

Midweek holiday on Elba and basic sailing course.

Experience in line with our expectations aimed at learning sailing on a sailboat, anchoring in the roadstead and landing in port. Ivo was able to be a good skipper, encouraging us to try and make mistakes (recovering us with his decisive action) and reassuring us when the adverse sea weather conditions of the first crossing put us to the test. We spent some pleasant time chatting, cooking and relaxing in the roadstead, but also visited Porto Azzurro with a dinner in the village and a pleasant morning walk to discover the area. The stop in the Stella gulf for a nice swim and a swim to reach the beach is also very pleasant. They were really 4 interesting, informative and relaxing days that we recommend to those who, like us, do not want to just stay sunbathing.

My week aboard [hidden] was very pleasant and rejuvenating. The boat, spotless and perfectly organized, is ideal for acquiring the basic skills of sailing and comfortable enough even for 4 people, if respectful of the common areas and equipped with a good spirit of adaptation. Skipper Ivo was always available to share his nautical knowledge and his twenty years of experience allowed him to adjust the itinerary according to the weather ensuring maximum safety. His delicious aperitifs and dinners gave us moments of pleasant conviviality, rebalancing some small character roughness expressed in ways that were not always conciliatory ;-)

Exciting experience! Unfortunately we found a couple of days of bad weather that limited the itinerary, but the good company and the great Ivo made the trip beautiful. Highly recommended!

Someone told me that sailing is a school of life and I think that's just the way it is! As a neophyte I was able to immerse myself in this world and live a wonderful experience! We sailed around Elba laughing, joking, philosophizing.... always under the careful and scrupulous eye of our Captain Ivo who has always been able to put us at ease even in the most demanding moments and pass on some knowledge of this fascinating world!
