This experience, in a nutshell

For those who value privacy and don't like to be in a crowded sailing ship,

A holiday on a yacht equipped to sail in comfort and safety awaits you: 4 guests max, two cabins each with independent bathroom and shower, air conditioning (when moored), watermaker, full kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc.), dinette with TV and bar, free 5G WiFi, water heater, and much more.

For sports activities are included: kayak explorer 2+1, SUP, snorkeling, TRX. and swimming lessons for those who wish (the skipper is a swimming instructor).

Our base is Alcudia Porto in the north of Mallorca. From here we can plan together an itinerary in line with the weather forecast that includes: Menorca and its beautiful bays on the south coast, food and wine in the medieval city of Alcudia and Pollensa, with a very interesting nightlife, the beautiful Platja del Muro close to the homonymous natural park and the many coastal bays / villages along the west-northeast coast of Mallorca.

We will definitely hike to the Cap de Formentor.

Our boat can sail for an extended time without the need to return to port. Alternatively, we can stop for the night in some of the many marinas in the area, depending on the preferences of the guests.

A fantastic week living aboard Marina Oro sailing from Mallorca to Menorca and back, exploring a variety of coves, beaches and wild anchorages. The ability to adapt the itinerary to the weather forecast and crew’s whims was a big advantage. We booked the whole boat even though there were just two of us and this gave us even more flexibility on time spent sailing, swimming, kayaking, snorkelling, exploring, chilling, eating and drinking! Skipper Enrico is a multilingual adventurer with a fascinating CV - a true global citizen, sharing fascinating insights into Mallorca/Menorca and other sailing destinations. We felt very safe in his hands, he is clearly a seasoned sailor and knows his lovely boat inside out. We shared the cooking duties and consumed a trolley load of food and drink, and some fresh fish. Beer, G&T and Rum - and Italian coffee - all made regular appearances. Enrico shared his Grandma’s Carbonara secrets and his father’s bottle of red wine. We would have no hesitation in recommending Enrico and his boat, Marina Oro, to those seeking flexibility and more space on a charter. It is definitely not a “pile them high/squeeze them in approach”. We appreciated that greatly.

It has been a wonderful experience to go on this boat with Enrico! The boat is fully equipped with luxurious furniture for a sailboat: AC, dishwasher, washing machine, kayak, paddleboard, snorkeling gear, etc. It's pretty rare to see all of this in other boats! It has been a blast sharing the space with Enrico, as he always makes sure you're having the best moment possible. We saw amazing calas, sunsets, and had so much fun. I'll come back for sure! Thanks a lot for the wonderful experience.
