About me

An energetic and experienced skipper, originally from New Zealand, living in UK since I was 22, and sailing since I was 5! I own a new Hanse 505 and have years of coastal and off shore sailing experience, including Atlantic crossings both ways. Following an amazing trip across the Atlantic to St. Lucia with the ARC, 'Hanse Sailor' and I are now doing some Caribbean Cruising and would love for you to join us, or maybe even to do the Atlantic crossing back to Europe! My experience

Sailing since i was 5, I've never left it . Living in New Zealand till i was 22. I sailed in many regattas and raced on Hobby Cats to Luxury 75 foot sloops. Moving to UK after 3 years traveling around the Ionians and Med. Setting up an Outdoor shop and then 3 more before selling out. Sailed all this time in everything from a Prelude 20 to 118 ketch , Finally taking the bull by the horns , I purchased this lovely new Hanse 505 and have been chartering it since. Last year we went to Greece, Gibraltar, Las Palmas , Saint Lucia, 5 months in the Caribbean and then back to the UK via Azores and then the summer chartering her out to families , stag and hen parties , corporate events. Then back to do the same but from UK starting with Hamble to Gibraltar to Las Palmas to Saint Lucia with the ARC and another 6 months before my return to UK season. Come join me!!

I highly recommend Andy as a Skipper, he is fully dedicated to the crew; to let them have the best experience during their stay on the boat. Andy is a very high skilled Skipper with the perfect knowledge of the winds, seas and his boat that permits to give a wonderfull Learning on sailing, even to very comfirmed people.
