Hi, I'm Giorgio, my entry into the world of sailing dates back to the 70s, I started racing in the Vaurien class and then continued with significant experiences in the 470, Soling, J24, IOR, IMS, 12m SI classes (Vim, Tomahawk and Nayala). I have participated in Italian and European championships as well as in two intercontinental regattas: the Roma Cartagine in 2010 with my boat (Ginpao) and the ARC Gran Canaria St. Lucia 2016 on a Baltic 5. I attended the FIV Instructor course and obtained the license and then carried out the activity at the Assonautica Sailing Group in Livorno. Here, we were the first in Italy to introduce disabled athletes to sailing, taking them to race in international competitions. It is my pride to have been perhaps the first instructor of disabled athletes in Italy. I have sailed several times to Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Egadi, Aeolian, Pontine, Elba, Capraia for a total of about 20,000 miles of sea traveled. I have a pleasure boat license.
