It is a boat designed for travel designed without tonnage worries. Everything has been done to obtain a fast boat while respecting the specifications intended for long-distance cruising, i.e. a marine sailboat, with great course stability, the capacity to support a heavy load, and great solidity for the safety essential for this program. Although it has reinforced sampling, the boat is lighter than a production construction thanks to its epoxy wood composite construction, using the strip planking process. It is a sandwich of fiberglass / red cedar wood / epoxy resin that combines a compromise between lightness, rigidity, strength, and insulation. Despite its program as a travel boat, it has been designed and built with a real concern for performance that brings pleasure, sensations, and safety. Its hull is reminiscent of those from ocean racing and influenced the architecture of the first Class 40s as well as many of today's cruising yachts.
