This experience, in a nutshell

A fantastic opportunity and a great unforgettable adventure in nature await you on a comfortable boat of over 15 meters, equipped with 5 cozy double cabins. We will sail stopping in the most enchanting bays of the Aeolian Islands, to enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean sea.

During the week there will be a Certified Mountain Guide on board who will take you to the top of the volcanoes including Stromboli. You will be able to see the explosions at night... a very suggestive experience!

We will sail stopping in the most enchanting bays of the Aeolian Islands, to enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean sea. The Aeolian Islands already carry in their name all the charm of the mythology that characterizes them: they are the islands of Aeolus, the Lord of the Winds. Traveling by sailboat moved by the wind will make us fully experience the magic, nature and history of these lands. We will discover, along beautiful paths accompanied by a guide, the volcanoes , the islands of lava origin and their fantastic bays.

Start of the trek: from Capo d'Orlando (ME)

Difficulties: Easy

The treks of the Aeolian Islands are light and do not involve technical climbing or climbing. You will walk an average of 3-4 hours a day. All personal luggage will remain on the boat. You will only walk with a small backpack. If you are tired, there is the option to stay on the sailboat and simply enjoy the sea. No sailing knowledge is necessary.

We want to offer you a trekking program suitable for everyone based on a sailing boat, in one of the most beautiful destinations in the Mediterranean and among the most beautiful in the world, the Aeolian archipelago: made up of seven islands plus various islets and rocks.

Day 1

Embarkation at the Marina Capo d'Orlando (Messina) at 18:00

Leg 2

Day 2

Navigation to the island of Vulcano, anchoring and trekking to its summit, accompanied by the mountain-volcanological guide. Overnight at anchor at the base of the volcano's slopes.

Leg 3

Day 3

Departure for Lipari, passing through the Faraglioni, two large rocks that rise from the sea in the southern part of the island. We will find beautiful treks along the cliffs and bays of the island. We'll spend the night on the boat near the city center.

Leg 4

Day 4

We will continue the cruise by sailing towards Panarea where we will anchor for a magical night in the harbor in the south of the island, in Cala Zimmari. With the dinghy-tender it will be possible to go ashore to visit the adjacent Cala Yunco, a place of archaeological interest and for an excursion to Punta del Corvo (421m). Evening visit to the characteristic village. Overnight in the bay.

Day 5

We will set sail for Stromboli. We will have the opportunity to pass through the islets of Basiluzzo and Lisca Bianca. In the early afternoon we will arrive in Stromboli not far from the characteristic village for its white houses, where an evening trek on the volcano will be almost a must, accompanied by the mountain-volcanological guide, to admire its fantastic explosions from the edge of the Sciara del Fuoco. Overnight stay near the islands of Stromboli and Strombolicchio.

Day 6

After breakfast, from Stromboli we will head towards Salina, admiring the volcano from the north side. We will anchor and disembark for a short excursion and to visit the characteristic village of Santa Marina. From Salina in the afternoon we will head for Lipari, sailing in the crystal clear waters, possibly sailing and we will arrive in the evening in Capo d'Orlando.

Amazing sailing trip with Alberto, Francesca and Pascoale throughout the Eolian Islands! It was our very first - and unforgettable - experience! We were able to visit all islands we planned, with great food prepared by Francesca and great sailing from Alberto and Pascoale. We had also the opportunity to practise a little bit of sailing which was amazing for us! We will definitely repeat that!

The dreaded bora was skilfully managed by the skipper, transformed into a diversion that enlivened, in every sense, the holiday. Skipper Alberto and Federica fantastic handyman, proved to be very nice and very careful in making pleasant and unforgettable days at sea. Recommended experience, to be repeated !!

Beautiful holiday, well organized. Alberto was very good both in making us know and appreciate the peculiarities of the Gulf of Trieste and in managing the boat in conditions of sustained wind, transmitting a continuous sense of security and demonstrating an enviable competence and mastery of the sailboat. My 17 year old daughter and I relaxed and enjoyed the holiday using and appreciating the onboard equipment (tender and hammock). A special thanks also to Federica for the valuable assistance provided to Alberto, for having pampered and spoiled us and also for the not negligible culinary skills demonstrated: unforgettable the fantastic meatballs. Goodbye to both.
