This experience, in a nutshell

As autumn settles over the Cyclades, these Greek islands reveal their most peaceful and authentic side. Away from the summer crowds, you'll experience a different kind of beauty – untouched bays, ancient ruins, and tranquil waters, all aboard the luxurious Hanse 508 - Mercedes of the yachting world.

Picture this: you’re sailing through azure waters, feeling the warm sun on your skin, and the gentle breeze of the Aegean guiding you from one hidden gem to the next. With only a small group and an expert skipper to lead the way, this journey offers both relaxation and discovery, as you explore the Cyclades in a unique and deeply personal way.

Here’s a glimpse of what makes this trip special:

• Stunning Locations: The Cyclades, in autumn, are an explorer’s paradise. Hidden coves, ancient ruins, and breathtaking sunsets are yours to discover. Karthea, a prehistoric city, feels like a portal to another world. Dive into the waters off Milos, where two of the most spectacular beaches of Greece are located. Or marvel at the kaleidoscope of colors as the sun sets over Folegandros, a spectacle rivaling Santorini but without the crowds.

• An Experienced Skipper: Your journey is led by a skilled skipper who doubles as your guide. With a wealth of knowledge about Greek history, mythology, and the culinary traditions of the Cyclades, your skipper not only ensures your safety but also enriches your experience with stories and insights that breathe life into every location.

• Diverse Activities: This trip offers something for everyone. From adventurous night sailing under the stars to snorkeling and exploring ancient shipwrecks, each day is filled with activities tailored to different interests. Whether you're savoring Sifnos’ culinary delights, swimming in Polyaigos’ crystal-clear waters, or wandering through Milos’ pirate caves, there’s always a new adventure waiting for you.

• Flexibility & Customization: While the Cyclades’ autumn weather is typically mild, our itinerary is flexible, allowing us to adjust plans based on the conditions. Should the winds change, your skipper will ensure you still experience the best of each island, with alternative anchorages and activities, so you never miss out on the beauty and spirit of the trip.

• Sufficient Time at Destinations: We understand the importance of immersing yourself in each stop. You’ll have plenty of time to explore, whether it’s enjoying a leisurely breakfast in a local taverna or watching the sunset from a hidden beach. This isn’t a rushed tour – it’s an opportunity to truly connect with the islands.

• Consistent Quality: Our yacht meets the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, ensuring a luxurious sailing experience. Every detail, from your cabin to the facilities on board, is meticulously maintained. Your skipper’s hospitality, combined with rigorous safety and service standards, guarantees that your trip is seamless and memorable.

Leg 1

Hidden Wonders

Our adventure begins as we sail to Karthea, a forgotten city hidden away on the island of Kea. It is a mythical experience when the sun with its golden glow fills the ancient ruins with light that’s been frozen in time for over 1,400 years.

It will be just us, the sea, and the stories of ancient Greece. We’ll drop anchor in a quiet bay, enjoy some wine, and soak in the starry night, with your skipper sharing tales that bring this mystical place to life.

Leg 2

Secrets Beneath the Sea

Our journey continues to Kythnos, sailing past the resting place of the Britannic, the Titanic's ill-fated sister while learning about its fascinating history.

At Kythnos we will explore the mysterious Katafiki Caves. These caves are full of questions historians haven’t yet answered. After wandering through the charming streets of Dryopis, we’ll stop for lunch at a local fish taverna, where the second generation of owners still rise before dawn to catch the freshest seafood. The day winds down with a swim at a quiet beach or, for the adventurous, a chance to swim to a WWII shipwreck.

Leg 3

The gastronomic haven

I will start our journey in the dark (while you sleep) to surprise you with a breathtaking sunrise in the open sea.

Today we are heading to Sifnos, a culinary jewel in the Cyclades,

But what exactly makes Sifnos so special when it comes to food?

It's the magic of ancient pottery techniques combined with fresh island ingredients, all elevated by the genius of Greek chef Nikolaos Tselementes.

Don't just take my word for it - experience it! Savor creamy revithada, a chickpea stew slow-baked overnight, or tender mastelo, lamb marinated in wine and spices.

Overall, we’ll spend the day sailing around Sifnos, stopping for breakfast, a seaside lunch, and a swim in one of the Cyclades’ most beautiful bays. In the evening, we dock at the marina for a special dinner at a modern restaurant that combines old and new flavors.

Leg 4

The sunset worth dying for

We start the day slow, enjoying all things sailing-SUP surfing behind a boat, dinghy vs yacht racing, and even trying some rope jumping. Once we’ve had our fun, we sail to Folegandros, a hidden gem where time seems to slow down. This is one of those places where you can really feel the spirit of Greece before it was touched by mass tourism. Its raw beauty, tranquil atmosphere, and captivating history have earned it the title of Santorini before tourism. As the day ends, we’ll make our way to the Church of Panagia, high above the sea, just in time to catch one of the most stunning sunsets in the Cyclades. This moment of quiet magic is the kind that stays with you long after the journey ends.

Leg 5

Am I dreaming?

Early in the morning, I'll navigate towards the sunrise, in a direction of Polyaigos. This island is famous for its crystal-clear waters, pink-white cliffs and secluded coves, including Blue Bay (Chochlakia), renowned as the Aegean's #1 bay. We could possibly encounter the elusive Mediterranean monk seal. Birdwatchers will delight in spotting falcons, eagles, and owls. The sea here is perfect for a morning swim or just relaxing on deck as you take in the stunning views. We’ll then sail to Sarakiniko, Greece's second most beautiful beach that looks like it’s from another planet with its smooth white volcanic rock formations. It’s a dream spot for photographers, and for those who like adventure. Here you can explore underwater caves, discover a hidden shipwreck, or try cliff jumping.

Leg 6

Whispers of the Past

First up, we’ll visit Kleftiko, a cove that was once a pirate hideout, now one of the most iconic Greek places. The towering cliffs and hidden sea caves make it feel like something out of a storybook. After we visit another remnant of the past - Thiorichia Beach, where colourful cliffs and yellow sand reveal the remnants of sulfur mines and abounded city. We will meet at the sunset near Sikia Cave is the most beautiful and biggest sea cave in Milos.

Leg 7

Night sailing to Kythnos

As night falls, we’ll sail into the night, guided by the star, following the same paths pirates once used. Out here, far from the lights of the city, the sky feels endless, with stars shining so brightly. You can even see the Milky Way stretching across the sky and the stars seem so close you could almost reach out and touch them.

The water around the boat will glow softly, lit by tiny sparks of bioluminescence. It’s a quiet, magical moment, with just the sound of the wind and the sea. Sailing at night brings a sense of peace, a chance to feel truly connected with the ocean and sky.

Leg 8

Traffic Column Beach

After a night of sailing beneath the stars, we'll awaken to the breathtaking sight of Kolon a stunning stretch of sand between two bays, one of the Cyclades' most stunning beaches. It’s usually packed in the summer, but in late October, we’ll have it nearly all to ourselves. After a relaxing swim and lunch on board, we’ll head back to the mainland.

Leg 9

Inuguration

After docking at Olympic Marine, we’ll hop into a taxi for our final journey (a skipper's treat), heading to the breathtaking Temple of Poseidon. For over 2,500 years, this temple has stood as a sacred place for sailors. As the sun sets, casting beautiful colors across the sky, we’ll raise a glass of champagne to celebrate. You’ll now be an honorary sailor of the Cyclades - a perfect way to end the journey
