This experience, in a nutshell

This holiday has something extra! Riccardo in addition to being a professional skipper who works at sea all year round, is also an excellent cook and an excellent host! Nice, calm and very attentive to the needs of his guests, he makes the holiday a real moment of total relaxation !!

This cruise with Riccardo, Professional Skipper for more than 20 years, starts from Punta Ala, with destination Elba Island, North Corsica, Capraia Island.

We will leave on Monday morning after having made the galley for the Island of Elba, between the wonderful villages of the island and the wild coves we will have many wonderful things to explore. We will then find a pleasant anchorage to spend the night, have dinner and spend the evening either on a boat under the stars or taking a walk on land.

The following days we will circumnavigate the island stopping in breathtaking coves immersed in the wonderful sea of the Tuscan archipelago and if the weather and sea conditions allow it we will sail to Corsica, "island within the island", mountainous, picturesque, dotted with ancient villages clinging to the mountains, wild beaches and coves, landscapes unchanged over time, this almost legendary place envelops the visitor in an atmosphere where time has stopped. We will not miss anything, from the crystal clear sea full of fish, starfish and crustaceans, to unspoiled paths through the scents of the Mediterranean scrub to the welcoming marinas equipped with French efficiency.

If the Cape is not beaten by the too strong mistral, we will descend along the west coast of Corsica. Along our route we will meet dusty fishing villages such as Centuri, and spectacular anchorages: Nonza, with its black pebble beach dominated by very high cliffs, Marina di Giottaini, set among the rocks.

During this sailing cruise we will pass through the Cetacean Sanctuary, a stretch of sea between Corsica, Tuscany and the French coast, with special protection rules because it is an ideal place for the sighting of marine mammals such as striped dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, fin whales and with a little luck gigantic sperm whales.

In the last days of the cruise we will sail to Capraia, the wildest island of the Tuscan Archipelago: here the lush vegetation is set among colorful volcanic rocks, overlooking the sea. Here we will see Cala Rossa, one of the most spectacular coves in the Mediterranean with the contrast between the light rocks of the Zenobito promontory and the high blood-red wall overlooking the sea. Sailing around this little pearl of the Mediterranean will be a journey full of surprises.

We will have the opportunity to go ashore to do some exploratory trekking or simply read a book on board while enjoying our relaxation.

No sailing experience is necessary, it is a holiday suitable for all sunny, empathetic people, open to new adventures and ready to adapt and get involved!

la vacanza è stata meravigliosa. Siamo stati in posti dove pochi altri vanno, spiagge dalla sabbia rosa, con poca gente tanto relax e divertimento. Il cibo era buonissimo. Se a pranzo si mangiava leggero per via del caldo, la sera facevamo un pasto più importante, tutto con ingredienti di qualità e accompagnati da buon vino o birra. Della barca posso solo dire cose positive: sebbene abbia qualche anno, è in eccellente stato di manutenzione ed ha spazio per tutto. Durante il giorno, grazie ai pannelli solari, potevamo caricare i telefoni addirittura con prese a 220v. Riccardo, il capitano ha una marcia in più: non solo fa di tutto per farti stare bene in barca ma è un grande esperto conoscitore dei mari. Con lui ti senti sempre al sicuro. Vi consiglio di prenotare per tempo visto che molte persone che hanno già viaggiato con Riccardo, prenotano anche l'anno dopo.

Riccardo est un navigateur expérimenté qui connaît très bien son bateau et aime naviguer à la voile. Il connaît très bien l’archipel toscan et ce tour est idéal pour des familles avec enfants . Les repas sont très bons et s’adaptent aux différents goûts . Je recommande vivement!!!

Bellissima esperienza! Riccardo skipper professionista,persona molto piacevole e anche un supercuoco che non ci ha fatto mancare nulla! La rotta è stata perfetta x vedere acqua stupenda e spiagge bianche. Superconsigliato!

Non sono solito lasciare recensioni, ma questa volta mi sono trovato talmente bene he la voglio lasciare. La simpatia e bravura dello skipper ci ha subito dato la serenità necessaria per godersi la vacanza, per non parlare delle cene, vogliamo parlare delle cene? Veramente buone, degne di un ristorante! La barca è accogliente e pulita, tenuta in ordine, si vede che è amata dal proprietario. Gli spot visitati sono stati uno più bello dell altro. Sto consigliando questa esperienza a tutti i miei amici.
