Our itinerary

Palermo.

Check-in: 3:00 PM

Our trip ends here:

Palermo.

Check-out: 8:00 AM

Leg 1

Saturday: Palermo embarkation

Meeting point from 4.30 pm in Palermo. Meeting with the crew, briefing on the week's program and on the on-board instrumentation, then everyone to make the galley with the help of our crew. Accommodation on board and if you are ready by 18:30/19 and the weather conditions allow it, you set sail (about 1/2h of navigation) towards Mondello or Terrasini to spend dinner and the night at anchor under the stars.

Leg 2

Sunday: Zingaro Nature Reserve

Breakfast on board and route to San Vito Lo Capo, sailing along the coast for the Zingaro Reserve up to San Vito Lo Capo, a fishing port that has become a pleasant tourist resort with its characteristic long sandy beach. You will go ashore with the tender for an aperitif, dinner or even just a walk in the village. Overnight stay in the roadstead in the bay of San Vito Lo Capo.

Leg 3

Monday: Favignana

Navigation to Favignana, the largest of the islands, with its characteristic butterfly shape. The name derives from the construction stone, called Favignana, which is extracted from tuff quarries. Once you arrive, you will stop for a dip and relaxation at Cala Rossa, the island's symbolic inlet, which offers both rocks and sand set in a sea that embraces shades ranging from blue to light blue. For the evening you will enter the port where moored you can comfortably get off in the main village of the island.

Leg 4

Tuesday: Marettimo

Breakfast and for those who want to visit the Florio Tonnara, the former Florio factory of the Tonnare di Favignana and Formica is an ancient tuna fishery, one of the largest in the Mediterranean. It is here that Ignazio Florio, at the end of the nineteenth century, invented the revolutionary method of preserving tuna, having the adjoining factory built. We circumnavigate Favignana with a stop at Cala Pozzo or Cala Rotonda. Navigation to Marettimo (about 3 hours) and arrival in the late afternoon at the furthest of the Egadi Islands, Marettimo. Thanks to its remoteness, the impervious nature of the mountain and the low impact of man on the environment, it preserves a very precious vegetative and faunal heritage, where unique species of the Mediterranean have managed to live. We will go down with the tender to visit the village and if you want to dine in its renowned restaurants and enjoy the soup with the Egadi lobster. Overnight stay at anchor in the Bay of the Marina di Marettimo.

Leg 5

Wednesday: Marettimo-Levanzo

Marettimo, a land walk on the wild island dominated by Monte Falcone is full of beautiful natural caves, famous for excursions along the paths that lead to the ruins of Roman houses and a marine reserve. We set sail for Punta Troia to see the promontory and the Castle of Punta Troia, recently restored, and make a few swim stops, here relaxation and lunch, (for those who want can arrive from the path from the ground from the village to Punta Troia, about two hours. In the late afternoon, navigation to the small Levanzo, (2 hours of navigation).

Leg 6

Thursday: San Vito Lo Capo

Wake up in Cala Tramontana and move to the Pinetina towards Cala Ninnoli, after a swim at the Grotta del Genovese and a dip in Cala Fredda for lunch. In the late afternoon you will set sail for San Vito lo Capo, where you will spend the night in the port or at anchor or in the port depending on the weather conditions. The town of San Vito Lo Capo will be waiting for you a refreshing walk of Sicilian life. The heart of the town is Piazza Santuario overlooked by the sanctuary-fortress dedicated to San Vito martyr, patron saint of the town. From here, Via Savoia, quickly reaches the sea, an irresistible attraction for everyone, a destination for shopping and relaxing walks.

As every year, for this date in particular, we have included in the classic Egadi Cruise, the stop in San Vito Lo Capo for a special program to live a unique experience aboard a boat and sail while visiting, at the same time, this important annual event.

Leg 7

Friday: San Vito-Palermo

From San Vito we sail to Punta Raisi (about 5 hours) and breakfast, and then stop for swimming and relaxation at Isola delle Femmine, which is a small and pretty town that is located not far from Palermo and its beautiful seafront. The same name is also given to a small islet that overlooks right in front of it. After lunch we will calmly set sail towards Palermo. Arrival in Palermo no earlier than 6 pm for the late afternoon, free evening with typical aperitifs, tastings and excellent Sicilian wines and then overnight stay on the boat.

Leg 8

Saturday: Palermo

Magical Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia and Procida by Catamaran

09/15/2024

GIANLORENZO C.

Accoglienza all'arrivo al marina abbastanza scadente.

Sailing, Relaxation and Fun in the Pontine and Phlegraean Islands on a 15-meter Boat
