This experience, in a nutshell

The Velasquez Flotilla in Sardinia is an invitation to let yourself be carried away by the wind and the magic of the sea.

With unfurled sails and light hearts, we'll sail between white sandy beaches and turquoise waters that have made the north of the island famous, often called "the Caribbean of Italy".

Every day will be a mosaic of emotions: unforgettable baths, carefree dives, aperitifs at sunset and festive evenings under the stars, alternating with sports sailing and moments of pure immersion in nature.

Our Flotilla is a journey made up of several boats sailing together, creating a unique atmosphere made up of conviviality and friendships that arise spontaneously. We propose a proven itinerary that encompasses nature, sailing and fun. The north of Sardinia offers beautiful roadsteads, perfect winds for navigation and seascapes among the most evocative in the Mediterranean. During the cruise we will be equipped with the privileged ticket to anchor and visit the beaches of the Maddalena Archipelago, so as to experience the most exclusive places.

We will sail among the most iconic islands: Caprera, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, Santa Maria, where you will find breathtaking beaches and blue sea. We will visit the historic town of La Maddalena, sharing a dinner all together, and we will point the bow towards South Corsica, between Bonifacio, Porto Vecchio and the incredible natural pools of the area. Each landing will be an opportunity to discover authentic places and experience the truest part of the Mediterranean together.

On board you will be part of the crew: you will be able to learn the secrets of sailing, listen only to the wind and the sea, and experience the freedom of a holiday that combines nature, sport and new friendships. At Velasquez, we take care of every detail with passion: our flotilla is warm, fun and united, an experience that remains in the heart.

We are waiting for you on board to write your unforgettable summer together. Join the Velasquez Flotilla: sea, sailing and new friendships await you.

I was not new to flotilla holidays, while it was the first experience on a sailing boat for my friend Titti and I was a bit anxious ... and it was wonderful! We had a lot of fun, thanks to the organization of Admiral Claudio, the skipper Paolo and the fantastic company of our crew. A wonderful itinerary, enchanting sea and beaches, blue lagoon coves ... At every sunset, the moonrise, magical nights in the roadstead under the starry sky. Memories that will remain forever in our hearts. To be redone ... and to be recommended, absolutely! After a week with Velasquez I still don't know if Claudio is a seaman lent to the theater or a stage man lent to the sea! In any case, his professionalism was impeccable: attentive, shrewd and always updated on weather conditions, he guided us with great competence to discover the archipelago of La Maddalena and Corsica. Every decision seemed to be studied to perfection, and at the same time he made us laugh with his irony and the little curtains on board. The destinations were breathtaking: bays and coves to take your breath away, crystal clear water and unforgettable views. The boat, an Oceanis 51.1, was comfortable, spacious and perfectly equipped for a week in the flotilla. What made it even more special was the possibility of sailing: feeling the wind, the sea sliding under the boat and the silence interrupted only by the sound of the waves is truly magical. The crew? Perfect! An atmosphere of fun, complicity and goliardy was created that made every moment special and memorable. An unforgettable experience, made unique by Claudio's expert and caring guidance and Velasquez's professionalism. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the sea safely, with a pinch of irony, lots of laughter and the magic of sailing!

Group travel and wonderful places, exciting sunrises and sunsets. Negative note for the boat, delivered to us dirty and in poor condition, with a clear difference from the other of the flotilla (new and spacious), yet the price paid was the same! It was too small to hold ten people, and the failure of one of the two bathrooms has made us hell the last few days. The organization needs to be reviewed!
