A week-long cruise to discover the Isle of Wight and its surroundings, alternating sailing and shore visits. After a stop in Alderney, the northernmost of the Channel Islands, we will cross the Channel and the rails, a real highway for cargo ships going up to the North of Europe. Your skipper will take you part in the route, the sail trimming and manoeuvres and will introduce you to the maritime regulations. Wight will enchant you with its typical ports such as Yarmouth or Cowes, its cliffs of the Needles, hanging from those of Etretat and its so British charm. Sailing in the Solent is protected from the moods of the sea and offers many destinations, such as the trip up the Beaulieu River in the New Forest National Park, on the banks of which are nestled sumptuous cottages, in lush nature. On the way back, depending on the tides, we can make a trip to Sark, the last feudal state in Europe, known for being a car-free island.
