This experience, in a nutshell

A week between the magic and energy of the Aeolian Islands, sailing among the islands of the mythological Aeolus, undisputed god of the winds, and discovering the ancestral fascinations of two still active volcanoes: Stromboli, the lava giant that enchants with the primordial force of its eruptions and Vulcano, home of the god of Fire.

On board comfortable sailing catamarans from our bases in Capo D'Orlando or PortoRosa for a week of sea, relaxation and fun in the unique setting of the Sicilian Archipelago.

Leg 1

Saturday CAPO D'ORLANDO/VULCANO

Arrival at the base and meeting with your crew at 16:00 for briefing and galley organization. Boarding from 5:30 p.m. and accommodation on board your catamaran. We will try to set sail immediately, if all the operations are carried out in time, towards the first of the Aeolian Islands: Vulcano. Arrived after 3 hours south of Vulcano in the bay of Gelsi or in the port of Levante of the island. Depending on your arrival time, you can have dinner in Vulcano or a simple walk on the beach.

Leg 2

Sunday VULCANO/ FILICUDI

Breakfast and morning dedicated to the discovery of Vulcano, swimming in the sulphurous springs or walking in Vulcanello. As soon as we get back on board, we set sail for the furthest and most poetic of the Aeolian Islands, Filicudi. At Capo Graziano we will choose a bay for a dip, (Grotta del bue Marino and the Canna), relax and snorkel before moving to Porto Pecorini to have dinner on land with the lady and spend the night under a mantle of stars in the roadstead.

Leg 3

Monday FILICUDI/SALINA

Breakfast on land or on board and sailing to the famous bay of Pollara in Salina, a small hamlet where Massimo Troisi's Il postino was filmed. Before sunset we are in Santa Maria di Salina in the beautiful bay in front of the marina of Salina, the Port of the Aeolian Islands. We will be ready to moor and so for a walk through its characteristic center for an aperitif, in fact Salina as well as for its wines is famous for its Malvasia.

Leg 4

Tuesday SALINA/STROMBOLI

A hearty breakfast in Lingua for the famous Granita da Alfredo and then turn to Stromboli with its fire magic. Swim in Basiluzzo or Lisca Bianca (satellite islets of Panarea where we will stop for lunch). Arrival in the late afternoon in Stromboli to admire the eruptions from the sea and then on land after a quick dinner on board we go ashore to explore the island of geckos

Leg 5

Wednesday STROMBOLI/PANAREA

Breakfast on land with granita and brioche and ready to sail towards Strombolicchio for a bath in the cobalt blue and then towards Panarea. Stop for a swim and relax between Calajunco, a beautiful turquoise green natural pool, the islet Lisca Bianca with the famous Lovers' Cave and Lisca Nera. Late afternoon here we are at anchor in the spectacular bay of Milazzese, ready to go ashore and discover the small shops of Panarea with beautiful bars and its typical aperitifs.

Leg 6

Thursday PANAREA/ LIPARI

Breakfast on board and walk on the beach in Baia Milazzese and then as soon as we get back on the boat we are sailing southwards, towards Lipari with a relaxing break and lunch at 10:00 a.m. Relaxing stop in the magnificent White Beach, or the pumice quarries and in the late afternoon we will anchor under the Monastery and go ashore to visit the town of Lipari. Night under the stars at anchor

Leg 7

LIPARI/VULCANO/ CAPO D'ORLANDO

Breakfast and ready to set sail towards the nearby Bay of the Faraglioni of Lipari for a swim and relaxation stop and then to have lunch in Vulcano, in one of its picturesque coves between Punta Gelso and the Grotta del Cavallo, where we will admire a very varied coast rich in reddish colors typical of the island. Before returning to Capo D'Orlando by 6/6:30 pm, where we will spend the last evening celebrating together, we will have time to take a swim at the beach of Vinci with its fumaroles.

Leg 8

Saturday CAPO D'ORLANDO

Magical Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia and Procida by Catamaran

09/15/2024

GIANLORENZO C.

Accoglienza all'arrivo al marina abbastanza scadente.

Sailing, Relaxation and Fun in the Pontine and Phlegraean Islands on a 15-meter Boat
