This experience, in a nutshell

Get on board and enjoy this magnificent weekend in the most enchanting places on the Island of Elba, the largest and most popular of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.

This weekend on the boat will take you to discover sailing, you will also be an active part of the crew, you will be able to practice at the helm and learn how to maneuver the sails, or if you are already practical, the instructor will guide you in perfecting your skills.

Living on board is not just sailing, we will make beautiful regenerating stops in beautiful bays and swim in the blue sea, with us life on board is relaxed and fun, you make new friends and together you collaborate in the management of the boat.

Our sailing style does not include standard trips, what we will do will be decided together on board based on the wind conditions and the wishes of the group, we can do long sails if the wind is favorable and the group wants to learn more, or choose to stop in the bay and visit the surroundings.

We are an amateur sports association, our aim is to make you discover the art of sailing, learn to sail while having fun, always respecting our sea.

The activities of our association are guided by the ethical values that are the basis of our daily actions: we sail according to the principles of responsible tourism, our main fuel is wind and our energy is solar.
To embark with us, you will need to become a member of the association and present a medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity.

On board we will separate waste and we will not use disposable tableware.

Leg 1

Gulf of Baratti

After an hour of navigation we will stop in this beautiful bay famous for its crystal clear waters, where those who want can dive for a nice refreshing swim

Leg 2

Cavo nell'Elba

The next stop will be in front of this beautiful sandy beach that stretches for a stretch of more than 400 meters of coastline. Here we will stop at anchor for lunch

Leg 3

Porto Azzurro

On Saturday evening we will stop in the beautiful bay of Porto Azzurro to enjoy the evening, have dinner and sleep at anchor. Those who wish can go ashore with the service dinghy for an aperitif and a visit to the picturesque town of Elba.

Leg 4

Ortano

In our opinion one of the most beautiful coves on the island, it offers transparent waters and a beach of small pebbles and sand. Early Sunday morning we will set sail from Porto Azzurro to reach it before the arrival of the masses and enjoy it in all its splendor.

Re-entry

After lunch we will set sail for San Vincenzo and if there is still some time we will take a last dip in the bay.

Esperienza positiva con alcune pecche. Infatti questa associazione sportiva dilettantistica promuove la condivisione all'unisono della vita in barca con tutti i componenti. In realtà lo stesso skipper priva gli ospiti di una doccia con acqua dolce, mentre se la gode per sé stesso, il concetto della condivisione viene meno. Esperienza positiva per mare, tragitto e pulizia. Negativo per atteggiamento dello skipper in quanto poco accogliente e disponibile rispetto alle esigenze e ai bisogni degli ospiti, ogni richiesta era un piccolo problema, dallo sbarcare con il tender in porto alla doccia di acqua dolce negata e non ultimo il costante odore di pipa sia all'interno che all'esterno della barca.

Alessandro è uno skipper gentile sotto la scorza del marinaio duro e scontroso. Attento alle esigenze di tutti, sa iniziare i membri dell’equipaggio ai valori autentici ed essenziali del mare, condividendo le sue competenze e aprendo, qualche volta gelosamente, la sua barca “Vaga-Mente” a chi, come me, desiderava abbandonarsi alla brezza del vento.

Alessandro è una persona squisita oltre che molto competente e disponibile. Ci ha fatto sentire sempre sicuri in ogni situazione, anche in quelle dove il meteo non è stato dei migliori. Crociera rilassante e divertente, ottima musica, peccato per il poco vento. Toccherà tornare! Esperienza indubbiamente consigliata.
