This experience, in a nutshell

Sailing among the Pontine Islands will be an unforgettable experience thanks to the absolute beauty of the landscapes, and the characteristic town, experiencing the pleasure of a sailing holiday, sun, sea, wind.

Socializing with the crew members will be very easy in this fantastic context, we will be able to share unique moments united by the passion for the sea and nature.

As a sailing instructor, for those who want it, there is also a mini course on the rudiments of sailing and deep sea fishing.

We will be surrounded by the splendid views of Ponza, with its spectacular beaches, such as Chiaia di Luna, the Frontone, Cala Feola with its typical fishing restaurant on the sea, among the most famous and its characteristic natural pools where you can eat fresh fish.

Then we will stop in Palmarola, the wildest and most beautiful with its coves and stacks, where we will enjoy crystal clear water and its stacks

On board with me there will be Katia who will help me in driving the boat.

Leg 1

Day 1

Departure at 3 p.m. from Nettuno sailing to Palmarola. Expected arrival at 9 p.m., anchoring in the beautiful bay of Spermaturo and for those who feel like it, night swimming.

Leg 2

Day 2

After breakfast and swimming in crystal clear water, sailing to Ponza where we will anchor in the beautiful bay of Chiaia Di Luna sun baths and visit with the tender in the largest hidden cave on the island lunch on board, at 5 pm we set sail for the bay of Cala Feola where we will spend the night, dinner on board or alternatively at the Marina, a very characteristic fisherman's restaurant, a fraschetta built on the rocks of the bay.

In the morning breakfast and swimming at the characteristic natural pools of Cala Feola, at 11 a.m. we set sail for the return to Nettuno. I will be helped in the manoeuvres by my partner

Sailing among the Pontines

Luigi è un ottimo skipper con una vasta esperienza nella navigazione e nella vela, oltre a conoscere perfettamente le isole Pontine scegliendo sempre il luogo più adatto dove sostare in base alle condizioni del mare e del meteo e in sicurezza. Ci ha dato anche la possibilità di approfondire le nostre conoscenze e capacità di conduzione dell'imbarcazione lasciandoci tanto spazio e facendoci fare delle belle veleggiate. La barca è molto comoda, pulita e ben tenuta. Purtroppo a causa del meteo la nostra vacanza è durata circa 2 giorni in meno del previsto, non siamo riusciti a raggiungere Ventotene e abbiamo fatto solo una toccata a Palmarola. Bisogna inoltre considerare che la traversata da Ostia alle Pontine (e viceversa) è abbastanza impegnativa (circa 9 ore), soprattutto se le condizioni del mare non sono ottimali. Forse pecca un po' nella comunicazione dando a volte per scontate alcune cose, soprattutto a livello organizzativo o per chi non ha esperienza in barca.

Luigi è uno skipper eccezionale, ci ha fatto passare una bellissima vacanza, ha sempre messo la sicurezza in primo piano, in più ci ha fatto partecipare alle manovre dandoci tante prezziose nozioni. Un caro saluto anche a Katia, sempre gentile e discreta.

Esperienza consigliata!! Vacanza indimenticabile!! Luigi gran capitano, skipper e istruttore di vela, ha gestito tutte le situazioni in sicurezza, nonostante l’onda e vento forte. Trasmette la passione per il mare e il mondo della barca a vela, disponibile in tutte le spiegazioni, conosce le isole e i suoi segreti. Cuoco eccellente ti coinvolge con i suoi meravigliosi racconti. La barca è vissuta, accogliente e pulita. Il viaggio è stato meraviglioso anche per la presenza del secondo skipper super Giangio. I compagni di avventura eccezionali, tante emozioni vissute insieme… Grazie a tutti!! A presto!!

Posso solo parlare bene dello skipper e del suo vice Giandrea, persone cordiali e disponibili ma soprattutto amanti del mare. Luigi dispensa continuamente insegnamenti di vela e trasmette calma anche quando il meteo non è dei migliori! Finalmente posso dire di aver fatto una full immersion di barca a vela, il motore lo abbiamo utilizzato veramente solo quando indispensabile, inoltre Luigi conosce bene la zona e ci ha dato molte dritte. Ripeterò sicuramente l'esperienza con loro, il tutto è stato reso indimenticabile da una ciurma stupenda. Alessandro
