For those traveling by car: take the A1 towards Genoa, then the A12 (Genoa-Livorno) towards La Spezia, you will find the exit of the same name and you will have to continue following the signs for the port. If you are coming from the south, take the A15 (Parma-La Spezia)

Public and paid parking spaces are available near the port.

For those traveling by train: from La Spezia Centrale station the port is easily reachable in about 10 minutes by taxi or bus. On foot it is about 20-30 minutes.
