Give this experience a try!

This experience, in a nutshell

Let's dispel a myth: Sailing Cruises in Greece are not an expensive choice, they are not just for sea dogs and they are no longer, for a long time, a "snobbish" holiday. On the contrary: a sailing cruise is first and foremost a holiday of simplicity and freedom. At sea, time expands and harmony with nature is rediscovered .

You come to rest, to disconnect from the frenzy, from the rhythms and duties of life in the city. A holiday immersed in the blue, the sun and the wind, an economical and original solution for the summer. All you need is joy, a passion for the sea – which is the real protagonist – and a pinch of spirit of adventure. A holiday you will remember for a lifetime ... and that many of you will want to try again!

White villages clinging to the rock that look down on you from above, jagged coasts, intense light and sunshine, crystal clear sea, churches, castles and monasteries, along with a warm welcome.

These are the Cyclades Islands, the islands of light, which in mythology gave birth to heroes and gods.

Under a great sun, carried by the wind, from port to port, from cove to cove, we will discover the villages and landings of the Cyclades islands: Kythnos, Serifos and/or Syfnos, the lively Syros, Tinos and then land in the festive Mykonos after a swim in the turquoise waters of Reina and a possible stop in the island-museum of Delos.

The itinerary is very rich and admits multiple variations. All the islands are wonderful, each with its own grace and history. We will alternate days of navigation with stops on land to go and browse the sites of greatest interest, explore the islands by renting bikes, cars or scooters, stretch our legs and treat ourselves to some well-deserved relaxation and some swimming in the most beautiful coves.

More routes and choices on stops are possible and it will be up to the Captain to decide the best one based on the actual weather conditions we will encounter on site.

Our trip ends here:

Mykonos.

Check-out: 8:00 AM

Leg 1

Day 1 - Embarkation

In the afternoon the boarding of the guests begins, we settle on board and provide the first most important initial refueling, we make the galley, we get to know each other and spend the first evening all together in some local tavern.

Leg 2

Day 2

After a good breakfast and the initial safety briefing on board, we set sail. We parade Cape Sounion, with the temple dedicated to Poseidon that stands high on the hill and opens us to the journey to the Aegean. We head south-southwest towards the island of Kithnos, famous for the two bays to the north divided by a small strip of beach, where we will spend the night.

Leg 3

Day 3

We enjoy a good breakfast on the boat and for those who want it a swim in the bay and we begin the descent towards Serifos, a rough, rocky, wild island, with the village perched on the mountain, which we will discover with a nice walk in the evening.

Leg 4

Day 4

From Serifos, if the wind allows it, we descend towards Sifnos and stop on the NEst side for a nice swim, then going to anchor in the enchanted bay of Vathy for the evening. We can go ashore and go and visit the villages of Apollonia or Kastro, inland, very characteristic and with a suggestive landscape!

Leg 5

Day 5

We take the sea and stop in another of the beautiful bays of the island and then head to Syros, once the capital of the Cyclades, which with its village offers a sparkling atmosphere to visitors and a beautiful scenery with the hills dominated by suggestive monasteries.

Leg 6

Day 6

We leave Syros and take a swim in the islet outside the town, an unexpected and evocative paradise with turquoise waters. We head towards Tinos where we choose whether to sleep in the bay or in the island's Marina. On land we can take a break and tour the island, green and mountainous, with scooters or rental cars.

Leg 7

Day 7

We leave Tinos and cross the channel that separates it from Mykonos, we head to Reina, the islet in front of the marina of Mykonos, which gives us a sandy beach and turquoise waters and from here we head for Mykonos, where we moor for the last night on board and get ready to go down for a lively evening on the most fashionable island of all the Cyclades.

Day 7

Leg 8

Disembarkation

A good breakfast and a ritual group photo at an early hour and the disembarkation begins, it's time to say goodbye, we exchange photos, kisses and hugs and we leave with a goodbye!

Andrea was a great captain. We felt completely safe with the way he led us through all the beautiful places, ports and hidden bays with clear azure water. In those places, we swam with school of fish and encountered swimming pigs, jumping dolphins , a huge seal, baby octopus and turtle. It was truly magical to sail without the engines from time to time. We felt like we became part of the ocean. It was kind of Andrea to let us take part in some simple and safe tasks. We were lucky with the other passengers with whom we shared this experience. They were excellent chefs. We enjoyed working together in the galley. The seafood risotto under the stars was one of the best meals of our week. Thank you Andrea! J & M
