This experience, in a nutshell

If even for a moment it was a dream of yours, you really have to participate in this vacation. You will be able to experience the sea as you have never done before, learning to sail, to get to know new places and admire the landscapes from another wonderful point of view: from the sea to the land.

We will sail inside the Cetacean Sanctuary, a vast Marine Protected Area extending from the Gulf of Genoa to Monte Carlo, the North of Sardinia and the Argentario. In this area there are a large number of cetaceans that have found here, despite the traffic of ships, an environment rich in food. If we are lucky we may spot some dolphins, some bottlenose dolphins or some striped dolphins, but if we are really lucky we could even see the fin whale!!

We will visit the extreme north of Corsica, the so-called finger, a wild area that is never too crowded, not even in the middle of the bathing season. We will swim at the beach of Saleccia, considered one of the most beautiful in all of Corsica with its crystal clear water and white sand that contrasts with the Mediterranean scrub and the maritime pines behind it.

We will make a stop at the island of Capraia, formed by the eruptive lava of two distinct volcanoes about 7 million years ago. Home to an agricultural penal colony for more than a century until about 40 years ago, the few inhabitants have chosen not to distort the environment, so it has remained very wild with few concessions to the needs of tourism.

If you are interested you can participate in the management of the boat, I will teach you the basics of sailing. If you already have some experience, it can be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge.

If you just want to relax, you can enjoy the sea, the sun and the beautiful places we will visit.

Life on board is spent in close contact with the other participants, it takes wisdom and tolerance, it is true, to sail side by side, but the experience of deep and at the same time exciting and fun contact with the nature of the sea and the air always produce as if by miracle an intense cohesion with fellow travelers..... until they become a real crew

The program described below is the general program, subject to change according to weather conditions.

We will spend the nights at anchor in the most beautiful coves available in the area. Whenever possible in the evening we will go ashore with the tender.

Our itinerary

We will leave Livorno in the very early afternoon, destination Capraia, where we will arrive in the evening.

We will continue the next day towards the far north of Corsica, where we will arrive in a few hours: we will decide based on the weather situation where to anchor to enjoy the coves in the area and spend the night.

The next day we will circumnavigate Cap Corse and head to the beach of Saleccia, one of the most beautiful in Corsica, where, if the weather permits, we will spend the night.

On Tuesday we will stay in the area, going to explore some other beach nearby, in the evening we could go to anchor in the roadstead of S. Florent and visit the lively town.

The following day we will return north, towards the fishing village of Centuri where we can go ashore to visit the picturesque village and spend the night in the harbor in front.

On Thursday we will leave for Capraia, where we will anchor in one of the beautiful coves that can only be reached by sea. Towards evening we will move near the port to go ashore.

On Friday, return to Livorno

Skipper e vacanza consigliata!
