This experience, in a nutshell

Two days and two nights of sea, sport and relaxation in company. Two days to disconnect and recharge the batteries. Sailing in a flotilla for two days is perhaps the best way to fully enjoy an island that you only have the opportunity to see in a few periods of the year.

We will head for the Island of Elba, the largest of the archipelago, with its 147 km of coastline where the most diverse landscapes alternate with delightful villages and dreamy views!

This period of the season is magical for sailing, the water begins to have that perfect temperature that invites you to take long swims and the days are long, we are in the middle of spring with unique shows of colors and scents. And the great privilege of being few around and being able to fully enjoy it.

To the north we can sail in the beautiful gulfs of Viticcio, Biodola and Procchio, visit MarcianaMarina and San Andrea and go as far as Punta Polveraia and the wreck of Pomonte, both in the western part of the island, the wildest and most unspoiled area. The east side is no less and offers us other beauties of nature such as the islets of Ortano and Palmaiola or the large gulf of Porto Azzurro, where we can give anchor and go ashore to visit the town, continuing, once we have rounded Punta dei Rialti we arrive at the abandoned mines of Capoliveri that mark the entrance to the beautiful south side of Elba.

Our base will be the new marina of Piombino, the port a few miles from the Island of Elba is easy to reach by car and therefore the ideal starting point for our travels.

After arranging our belongings in the cabin and the galley, we will immediately set off sailing at sunset towards the island of Elba. Our itinerary will be dictated by the weather, depending on the forecast we will decide which route to follow, which part of the island to visit and whether to spend the night at anchor or in port.

The itineraries can satisfy both the most experienced and those approaching the world of sailing for the first time. On board everyone will be able to learn the basics of sailing and participate in maneuvers. They will be days of sport, relaxation, nature and fun in company.

In fact, we will sail in a flotilla, one more opportunity to socialize and why not, challenge the other crew in short regattas.

Edoardo è uno skipper preparato, prudente, dall’animo gentile e accondiscendente.
