The Tuamotu, characterized by coral rings surrounding the lagoons and white beaches dotted with coconut palms, are a perfect environment for snorkelers and marine life lovers. 

The tropical climate and warm humid is tempered by the trade winds that blow all year round. The temperature is always constant, with an annual average of around 26 °C.

The TUAMOTU are coral atolls, coral rings that surround a lagoon that can be accessed through passes. Tackling the entrance to an atoll with a sailboat, crossing the passe at an incoming tide when the mascarene created by the current makes the sea boil is an exciting experience.

Along the way, we'll also stop at the coral atolls of Toau and Apataki.

Toau is an uninhabited atoll, where the locals go to collect coconuts for the preparation of copra. Sailing north outside the reef you arrive at Anse Amyot, a small sheltered bay, where Gaston and Valentine prepare typical Polynesian dishes and organize snorkeling with giant manta rays.

Rangiroa, where we will disembark, is the largest atoll of the Tuamotu group, it is made up of countless motu. It is known all over the world for its exceptional underwater fauna. Dolphins, grey sharks and hammerheads, reef fish and pelagics will accompany us in the explorations of its indescribable seabed.
